I like these...here we go.
Q. What equipment do you use?
A. Fully independent machinery, so no need to request power from my clients. Petrol driven inverter that runs a professional compressor with auto shut off once correct pressure is reached.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes. I have public liability insurance that covers all aspects of my work.
Q. Can I rely on you to provide a decent service?
A. Not just decent. Reliable. Friendly. Professional. I'm 58 years of age & have seen a niche business that will provide peace of mind for motorists, not only from a financial standpoint, but, and more importantly, a safety one too.
Q. Can I really save the money you have stated?
A. YES. My facts about this have been sourced and are easily checked. With the minimum amount of money wasted whilst driving your vehicle on under/over inflated tyres, and that is MINIMUM, by the time you have deducted that amount from my charge, the average yearly payment works out at just £27.88!
Q. Do you work in inclement weather?
A. Yes. The only weather that I would not work in would be very cold weather, or extremely hot weather (so three times a year for that). The temperature, if it were very cold, or extremely hot, would affect the pressure readings, so would not be classed as accurate therefore I would not be providing a proper or safe service.
Q. What payments do you take?
A. Pretty much all. It is a Ltd company. So Bank transfer - Direct debit - Standing order - Card - Cash, don't think I've missed anything.
Q. What are your hours of work?
A. In general, 8am until 6pm. If you are in need of a tyre check after these hours, I would do my very best to accommodate.
Q. Can you check my tyres shortly after a long journey?
A. No. Unfortunately, as with weather conditions, checking a hotter than normal tyre will give a false PSI reading. Tyres need to cool to normal temperatures before a check can be carried out.
Q. Are you a looker?
A. My wife thinks I am, but I definitely don't. And this has nothing to do with tyre pressure checks thank you very much.
